Reforming For the Summer
Reformation is the sexiest, girl-iest, and most transforming retailer out there right now. They inspire us to keep all our old and ugly, last season clothes and change them into simple, minimal perfect fitting outfits. Reformation takes old clothes and makes them shiny again. The fit, the look, the everything, is so delicious, you just have to take a bite out of their merchandise. I always open up my Reformation emails and drool over their beautiful and clean lookbooks, and secretly hoping I would look like the models in their lookbooks that day. But I somehow wake up that morning, getting dressed in a boyish outfit, with my baggy boyfriend jeans and oversized Free People top, looking far from the Reformation style. Beyonce’s lyrics, “I woke up like this” doesn’t quite hit the note for me, because I usually end of “not-looking-like-that.” So as the summer comes around the corner, I want to start wearing more minimal dresses, cutesy rompers, and some great pair of little heeled sandals. Can’t wait to get out of these old boyfriend jeans and into some new girlfriend skinnies!
Chose some of my favorites from the new collection.
Can’t forget the sandals! This a collage from Zara’s new shoe collection I made on our blog’s Polyvore account.
MODEL OF THE MOMENT.
Maria Santana is an amazing, talented, and beautiful model from Brazil. She’s modeled for Lucky Brand, Pull & Bear, Ralph Lauren Rugby, Urban Outfitters, and many more.
SPORTYSPICE
Confident. Wanderlust. Carpe Diem. Youthful. Vibrant. Breathtaking. The definition of a modern day woman with modern style that can’t be copied by today’s fast fashion scene. She lives a minimalistic lifestyle, only letting in love and positive vibes into her life, and enjoying the moment she lives and breaths in. She embraces mother nature and the gifts it gives her and wonders endlessly in its beauty. She believes in working hard for what she wants and finds a new challenge to accomplish everyday. (Find more outfits inspirations on the youthful woman, Sporty Spice, in our Polyvore. )

Chasing Dreams and Living Them
This week has been cuhhh-ray-zeeee! Basically it started with an interview for an internship, and boy, was I nervous just getting ready! I actually kind of like wearing a simple professional blazer, it makes me feel important and intelligent. There’s something about putting on that blazer, and thinking, “wow, I look good.” Hashtag GIRLBOSS. There’s nothing better than feeling a bit in charge of your life and going out and chasing after something you really want. During the interview (which was more like the employers talking and less of me answering) I got excited imagining myself working in a office, a cool fashion hipster office with others like me. I can’t wait for the internship to start and the opportunities it shall bring moi!
In other news, I finally caught up with some of my friends and my bestie. If you ever get the chance, you need to try the FREE yoga sessions in Long Beach on Ocean Ave before second street… I forget the street names but it’s at 11am everyday! Good ol’ Stephanie told me about it and we went! It was, amazing. The instructor was motivating and inspiring, and breathing the fresh morning air near the beach was so relaxing and calming. It is a great way to start any morning!
I caught up with one of my friends, Moonsoo, and we had such a fantastic dessert at Syrup, in Downtown Los Angeles, on 6th and Spring St. Took some photos of him for the Instagram because his outfit was on point! Please, please try the waffle desserts and the nutella crepes. It’s heaven on EARTH. No joke. Also, I had to take a quick trip to San Diego and ate at my favorite breakfast place called Snooze, with my mom. I love our mom and daughter bonding times. But Snooze is located in Del Mar and Hillcrest. GO! Just go. You’ll enjoy it.
Till next time xoxo,

WISHLIST WEDNESDAYS: COACHELLA
Big question. Did anyone check out the LINEUP for Coachella?! Excitement is an understatement, especially since I have never been and this will be my first time experiencing it! I can’t wait for those three incredibly days in the hot burning SUN, creating crazy memories with my friends and seeing my favorite DJs, bands, and artists perform! I’ve constantly heard about Coachella throughout my whole life and how amazing it is JUST to go. I don’t think you’ve really lived life unless you’ve gone to Coachella and experienced it. I know that’s a pretty big statement, but c’mon, it’s got to be true.
Not only is this the biggest music festival of the year (and every single year), but it’s also a big fashion event. Music festivals are a wonderful place for fashion lovers around the world to celebrate trends and fads which really set the tone of the fashion trends for the year and the years ahead. High-waisted shorts, converse and cute crop tops came back with a huge bang because of music festivals. Fashion trends happen and are emphasized through music festivals. This summer, I can’t wait for the music but also what people are wearing!
I love the boho-gypsy funky style and can’t wait to dress in short shorts, high-waisted anything, onesies (leotards), sandals, hats and funky sunglasses.
Here is some Fashion Inspo for you and some outfits I’ve created from our Polyvore.

MELLOW YELLOW! 💛🌻💛
Who said Tuesdays are no fun!? Had such an amazing morning with loved ones. Went to eat breakfast at the yellow vase in Redondo Beach with my lovely co-workers. After having some delicious red velvet French toast (I recommend you try) my friends and I went for a walk, it was so beautiful out. Went inside moon dancer which is one of my favorite boho, mediating, gypsy stores. Haha. Then after said goodbye and drove back home which was probably one of the best car rides in a very long time.
I’m normally in a rush to work or school, I try to just hurry and get to where I need to be. But today was different maybe because it was my day off so I was able to enjoy it. I never realized how much I liked living in California or even in my town. I always say how badly I want to leave this place but it’s really not that bad. We have the beautiful coast, amazing places to eat, and all of my friends are here. Let me tell you all, this drive was definitely worth it.
I needed time to think and get away plus I was listening to one of my favorite bands modest mouse. P.s. Guys listen to world at large by modest mouse if you haven’t already it’s a great song to listen to when you’re cruising by yourself. Well enough with all my jibber jabber here are some pictures of today’s adventure… 💛
TEENAGE WASTELAND!!!
Meet Ian !! 👋 Ian lives in Los Angeles. He is inspired by street style art, late 90s rustic street wear, soft grunge and punk. He has a major passion for painting and is inspired by CRAOLA’s art. Ian has a pretty extreme way of thinking and isn’t afraid to show the world how unique he really is. His favorite bands are smashing pumpkins, nirvana, and listening to the pissy Morrissey. 🙌 We’re really digging his style and will definitely be posting more up soon. Here’s a little something about our friend..

BYEEEE.
Take me back to the 90s.
Getting Lost in Los Angeles
There is one thing in Los Angeles that everyone has to do:
Get lost in Downtown LA.
Turn a wrong corner, exit on the next street, walk into that cute coffee place, drive around. Accidentally making the wrong turn is probably dangerous if it’s a one way street, but if it’s a two way, you’re on your way to an adventure. Some people may need to bring a friend, or like to have adventures alone, it’s totally fine! Discover things, find a new path. This is all part of the new year, right?
Downtown LA has so many little boutiques, cafes, sections, businesses, everything and anything. Of course, there is Skidrow which is a sad and unfortunate destination for homeless people infiltrated with drugs and the like. So don’t get lost over there, that’s definitely a no-no.
Anyways, there are sooo many small business in Downtown and it’s great to support any of them. You don’t have to spend your money every single time, but it’s always nice to buy something small or even take pictures of it and maybe give them a little love by sharing your little discoveries on social media. That way, it gets passed around, you look awesome for finding a cute store/cafe/boutique, and people pass that around and want to check it out too! We all know how this works!
& It’s okay to be annoying and take pictures- don’t feel ashamed, because remember, (pretty much) EVERYONE has an Instagram, they do it too!
So Steph and I took a little trip to the LA Arts District, ate at this amazing hidden cafe called The Daily Dose Cafe and after, got lost and took THOUSANDS of photos. Check it out below :)

Menswear is the New Black
Menswear has always been a big interest of mine. I think it coexists with the coming of the times and how society is changing to be more accepting and open. Women’s clothing has very much been influenced with men’s wear and what women can create with a simple pair of “Boyfriend Jeans,” or “Women’s Suit.”
Menswear has inspired me, as an individual, to wear comfortable clothing. I think girls these days perceive the image of women’s clothing as tight skinny jeans, tight tops, structured denim skirts, hugging high waisted jeans that make your skin purge out like muffin tops… It’s just all so suffocating to me.
This is wear I turn to SWEAT PANTS. But I still want to look cute, right? (But I’ll talk about pants later.)
Anyways, menswear is becoming more marketable. It’s creating a bigger hype these days, and I’ve seen so many Instagrams of men dressing dapper and just, rocking what they’ve got on! I think it’s awesome that they are open about their fashion and styles. And they look damn fine doing it too. Here are a list of what I found of companies and Instagrams I found in the past year.
